How to Get Involved With Mission Menstruation

At Mission Menstruation, we are passionate about ending period poverty on college campuses and beyond. If you’ve been looking for ways to get involved, here’s your one-stop guide to getting started!

Become an Advocate

One of the most impactful ways to get involved is to advocate for period equity in your own community. Advocacy is the most direct way to make your voice heard and take action. We know it may sound scary to initiate the movement on your own college campus, which is why we have a 5 step guide on our website to get you started! If you are interested in becoming an advocate at MSU or starting your own MM chapter at a different university, you can contact us at missionmenstruation@gmail.com or fill out the form here.

Monthly Yoga Fundraisers

Mission Menstruation is proud to partner with Hippie Yoga, located in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan. Hippie Yoga and MM have been partners for quite some time, aiming to create a space for our shared values of wellness and living a happy, healthy life! Our monthly donation-based yoga classes are held at 11:30 AM on the first Friday of the month. These classes are now available virtually OR in person. Head to our socials for a full list of class dates, and check out Hippie Yoga here to register for class.

Join us for our next Donation Yoga class on December 3rd!

Donate

As current/former college students ourselves, we understand that not everyone has the time commitment to get involved full-time as an advocate or staff member. Donating is an easy and effective way to contribute to the cause, with little to no time commitment!

One way to donate is through our ActBlue page, linked here and on our website – missionmenstruation.com. ActBlue is easy to use and securely collects donations! You can choose to donate once, or set up a monthly amount. All donations go towards furthering our mission and advocating for change.

Giving Tuesday is coming up quickly on November 30th! This day was started to encourage giving back to your community and identifying causes that you are passionate about. Read more about Giving Tuesday here, and keep an eye out on MM socials for more information on this year’s initiatives.

As always, make sure to follow our socials for the most up-to-date information on all things MM!
